FEATURES in VACATION RENTALS v3.0
- New code - First of all and most important, the entire code of the Vacation Rentals has been re-written from scratch for enhanced performances and faster browsing for you as admin and for you visitors and members.
- New design - Vacation Rentals v3.0 comes with a new design for both front and back end. The new design uses smarty templates and customisation is easier than before.
- New admin panel - the new admin panel is easier to use and is designed to help you in managing the whole website, with improved management over the features of the script and the content of the website.
- CMS - Vacation Rentals v3.0 includes a small Content Management System section that allows you to control and edit the pages easier. Now you can edit the content of homepage, about page, contact page easier than in our previously Vacation Rentals version.
You can also add new pages that will show in the main menu. - News - add news articles and announcement that will show in a special page on your website.
- Maps - integrated google maps for the property listings.
- Banners - ads & banner management
- Emails - emails sent by the script (on registration, on property enquiry, on contact etc) are easier to manage now and to customise
- Users - a better control of the users for the admin.Easier to set up specific rights and privileges for certain users.
- Packages & Business Plans - managing the business plans has been modified. Members can now pay for packages with customisable (by admin) number of listings, photos, active days. The admin can also set free or promo packages for own listings or other similar situations.
- Easy Installation - Vacation Rental Script is very easy to install: just create your database, fill in the installation form and you’re done.
- Web-based admin management - Add/Edit or Delete your property listings at any time from anywhere. Just login to admin area from where you can manage your website’s content.
- Manage Languages - manage your website’s language. The default language is English, but it’s very easy to get to use other languages. This feature is extremely useful for web based business located in a non-English spoken country.
- Manage currencies - from the admin panel you can add your desired currency. This feature is extremely useful for web based business using other currency than the USD or EURO.
- Property location management - Vacation Rentals allows your website administrator to manage the locations of the future listings. Manage the continents, the countries, the states and the regions from the “Regional settings” from the admin area.
- Property listing Management - this implies sub category division to manage such as:
- Members: manage the members which can submit their own listings;
- Property Types: manage the property types like apartments, house beach, villa, etc. Customize it to suit your business’ requirements;
- Beds, Features, Appliances, Activities, Payment Type: manage the beds, features, appliances, activities, payment types in individual forms. Add, edit or delete to manage your business particularities;
- Add New/Edit Property Listings: manage the property listings by filling/editing an easy step-by-step form. It’s easy!
- General Settings - In the admin zone, Vacation Rentals also provides easy management of general visual settings (i.e.: number of listings to be shown in front-end, number of search results shown, listing’s photo gallery settings, etc.). A very important feature of the Vacation Rental is the fact that you can make your website SEO FRIENDLY. In the same (General) Settings form select your website title, fill in the site description and the site keywords (these will appear in the head of the index as meta fields)
- Payment System - With the 2.0 version, the Vacation rental script provides an integrated payment system, with the possibility of making easy and secure transaction via PayPal. The payment system is easy to use for both administrators and users.
