Vacation Rental Script

I've noticed that when I search for a country and a town, then click 'search', rather than the map zoom down to the most detailed level possible while still displaying all of the properties, it goes to a world view or at least a very high view. To get down to something useful, I need to click several times to get to the right zoom level.

I've checked the portfolio sites and they're the same. The exception is the Barcelona Flats website, where it actually zooms in too far and cuts out one of the properties in the top-right hand corner of the map, but I'm guessing that they've tinkered with the script.

Is this something that the script is supposed to do? and if not, will it be changed in the next release?
